Bugaboo strollers
have been seen as some of the most stylish and sort after pushchairs
available for the last decade or so. Over this period Bugaboo have
released a number of alternative strollers to suit everyone’s
taste, whilst periodically releasing updates to some of its most
familiar names
The first Bugaboo stroller was the Bugaboo
Frog stroller
released in 1999. This 3 in 1 travel system has a lightweight stroller
which folds compactly like an umbrella stroller, allowing it to fit
into car boots and making it easy to store. The reversible
and
removable seat means you can choose whether your child faces you or the
world ahead.
The Bugaboo
Cameleon
is the follow up to the Bugaboo Frog and a pushchair does not come much
more customisable than this. There is a wide choice of colour varieties
and combinations to choose from allowing you to personalise your
pushchair as much as you want. Again the Camelon is a 3 in 1 travel
system and comes with height adjustable handlebars which are a major
plus for taller parents.
The Bugaboo
Gecko
is a cheaper 3 in 1 system than the Cameleon as its design is more
minimalistic, whilst still retaining many of the stylistic and safety
features Bugaboo strollers are renowned for. You won’t get
the
same choice of colours as with the Cameleon as there are only three,
however you still get a lightweight and very manoeuvrable stroller.
The Bugaboo
Bee Plus
stroller
is an upgrade of the original Bugaboo Bee. This stroller provides a
seat which can be extended allowing the pushchair to grow with your
child. It’s easy to fold and comes with a choice of sun
canopies
for that personal touch.
In addition to these Bugaboo
strollers, there are a number of different Bugaboo
accessories which can be purchased separately for any of the
strollers. These include wheel boards, cup holders and umbrellas.
Whilst the main issue raised against most Bugaboo strollers
tends to be the price, with a range of £400 ($600)
upwards
they don’t come cheap, we are sure whichever of the Bugaboo strollers
you choose you won’t be disappointed, as you will be getting
one
of the most innovative and stylish strollers available on the market
today.
